Government Continues to Support Habitat Yukon

On Thursday, November 27th, the Yukon Government invited Habitat to the Legislative Assembly for a tribute.  The Minister responsible for Community Services and the Yukon Housing Corporation Brad Cathers said, “Habitat for Humanity is a respected community partner in the development of affordable housing, and we are proud to support its work." He also announced that the Government of Yukon is contributing $300,000 from the Northern Housing Trust to Habitat for Humanity Yukon to continue its good work in developing affordable homes for the Yukoners in need.  Representatives of the other part

Canada Builds Team Helps Habitat Yukon

The first of five Canada Builds teams was in Whitehorse last week to assist us in completing the duplex at Whistle Bend.
