Carter Work Project Week – A great success!

Habitat for Humanity Yukon celebrated the 34th Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project Week by completing the landscaping at our newest affordable homes at 77 and 79 Iskoot in Whistle Bend. These homes are part of the 150 new affordable homes that Habitat for Humanity Canada has pledged to build for Canada’s 150th anniversary. The week’s work culminated with the Dedication Ceremony for the Carlick and MacNeil families’ homes. Many, many thanks for to all the volunteers who helped and to the Commissioner Phillips, Ministers Mostyn and Streicker and Mayor Curtis who spoke at the ceremony.
